Leaders Circle Recognition Gala 2019

The 4th Leaders Circle Recognition Gala was celebrated at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on November 7, 2019.

That evening, 13 notable local experts were honoured for their perseverance, commitment and success in bringing international meetings to Toronto. Together, these experts won bids for eight international meetings that will generate an estimated 14.8 million in economic impact, and leave lasting legacies for the region.

With a refreshed format, the gala created an interactive atmosphere. Each honouree was interviewed and a live artist created a tableau based on the award recipient’s responses, incorporating the theme of Past, Present and Future of the Leaders Circle.

Another Leaders Circle Grant was also awarded to a deserving Ambassador who epitomizes the cutting edge science, research and innovation that Toronto is known for worldwide.
